Some guys wore leather jackets and wore their hair like in this style modeled by "The Fonz".


There's no doubt why they called it a ducktail.

To go with the poodle skirts, a new hairdo was created called the poodle cut.

Remember when eyeglasses were shaped like a cat's eyes?

Under the poodle skirt girls would wear crinoline slips. Not just one slip. As many as it took to make the skirt wide.

At Christmas time girls would add jingle bells to the shoelaces of saddle shoes or white sneakers. You could hear us coming a mile away.

Our fathers all wore hats to work.

A perm was something done at home with a box of Toni
