Satch,
I have to be the bearer of some bad news. Mani passed away yesterday.
As you know, she had severe Parkinson's disease and had lost all ability
to function in any capacity. She had been in a comatose state for about
a week and had requested not to resuscitate if this should occur. She
went very peacefully and
serenely.
One of her last lucid moments was when she received your card. It really
lifted her spirits. Last night we all looked again at all the prom
pictures of you two..
Sunrise Village...remember? A great date that evening.
